Bottom loading furnace, graphite insulation (HTBL GR)

Bottom loading furnaces type HTBL are suitable for heat treatment up to 2200C, available for a working space from 50 l 200 l which is shaped as a vertical cylinder. The applications range from research to small production plants.

Graphite furnaces

These furnaces are employed under vacuum/high vacuum, protective gases such as nitrogen/argon, but also with reaction gases like hydrogen and carbon monoxide. Operation with air is not permitted.

Applications include technical ceramics such as SIC, SIN, BC, ALN and combinations. In the field of composite materials they are used for pyrolysis, sintering, siliconizing and carbonizing. The design incorporates a well dimensioned graphite fibre insulation with an inner graphite rod cage. The permitted capacity is up to 600 kg.
