Apex Discs

Apex Discs for hydrogen peroxide vapor contains bacterial spores on a stainless steel disc packaged within a convenient, peel-open envelope. To use an Apex Disc, place the envelope inside the isolator and process normally. Upon removal from the isolator, send the envelope to the microbiology laboratory where the Apex Disc is to be aseptically transferred to soybean casein digest culture medium and incubated at the appropriate temperature for 7 days.
